Body Movements Can Speak...

Are words necessary to express thoughts and feelings? Dance can be described as a unique medium that expresses thoughts and emotions through body movements without the use of words.

When it comes to the origins of dance, it dates back as far as the beginning of humanity. Here, ancient man obtained his food by hunting animals. They gather their tribesmen in the evening and perform a simulated dance to depict how they hunted animals. Although these dances are limited to rudimentary movements, they use their body movements to express their thoughts and feelings. Because in the past, there was no specific language or communication system, they used body movements as the main means of expressing their thoughts.

Although dance has been a medium of body movement since ancient times, it is still used today to express various stories, feelings, and thoughts.

Any person can understand the emotions expressed through dance in any country in the world.
