Through the eye of the camera ...

 People have many hobbies, and my hobby is photography. I love it so much. Because with the click of a camera, we can capture beautiful events and memories that we might otherwise forget, and keep them forever as a memory, without letting them fade away. I think photography is a uniquely powerful hobby that is different from other hobbies.

I first picked up a camera during my school days. I was also a member of the school's photography society, where our teacher taught us how to properly photograph an object or a scene. Photography has now become an integral part of my life and has grown into a passionate hobby.

The school environment was a beautiful place that gave us the opportunity to take photographs for the first time at our school. I never forget to photograph every happy moment in my life, everything aesthetic.

A photographer's eye is a special thing. His or her eye is drawn to aesthetic, attractive things more quickly than the average person. One of the most exciting parts of photography is experimenting with different techniques and styles.

On the one hand, photography is a way of communicating the photographer's thoughts and feelings. A photographer also needs to have a lot of patience. Sometimes we have to wait a while to capture something in the photo.

For example, to photograph a hawk flying high in the sky.

What I'm most excited about is posting the photos I take on social media and sharing them with my friends. Photography as a hobby provides entertainment, peace of mind, and the aesthetic experience of various stages and beautiful moments in life remains with me as a lasting memory, even as I get older.

  "The Noir Queen Kuweni" ballet was created by the creator Chandana Wickramasinghe, a great figure in Sri Lankan dance. This ballet was based on the story of the ancient queen Kuweni. This ballet was performed at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre, Colombo on January 3, 2025.   A dancer has the ability to instantly understand and control the movements of their body without consciously thinking about them. This is called Kinesthetic awareness or proprioception . This allows a dancer to maintain an intuitive understanding of their body during dance without any hindrance. A key aspect of the dancer brain is an acute sensitivity to rhythm and timing. Adapts to subtle shifts in dynamics and tempo according to music or a certain rhythm. Here, a dancer's brain is active, with the innate ability to not only perform rhythms with music, but also to interpret it in the context of the moods that accompany it at that moment.
